Enjoy the Halloween Holidays

We would like to wish our students and staff a very happy  and a very safe Halloween!

This is a good opportunity for some of our GCSE and Alevel Students to study, particularly if you have exams in January 2020. 

We return on Monday November 4th, 2019.

Please stay safe and if you are near fireworks over the coming day please follow these guidelines.

  1. Always have an adult supervise fireworks activities, especially with sparklers.
  2. Back up to a safe distance immediately after lighting fireworks.
  3. Never point or throw fireworks at another person.
  4. Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose handy in case of fire and to douse used fireworks before discarding in trash.
  5. Never allow young children to play or ignite fireworks.
  6. Never carry fireworks in a pocket or shoot them off in metal or glass containers.
  7. Never try to re-light or pickup fireworks that have not ignited fully.
  8. Never place a part of your body directly over a firework device when lighting.
  9. Make sure fireworks are legal in your area before buying or using them.
  10. Fireworks packaged in brown paper are made for professional displays – avoid buying
