Due to DfI Roadworks we are unable to operate beyond the Myra Road in Raholp.
This will affect all our 16e services to Strangford via Raholp and return services to Downpatrick.
We will be able to operate from Downpatrick Bus Depot up Saul Street to Rathkeltair Roundabout and then via Rathkeltair Road to A25 Strangford Road and then straight to Strangford. The return journey from Strangford to Downpatrick will operate via A25 Strangford Road only.
SCHOOL SERVICE - MORNING ONLY
Passengers coming from Mearne Road, St Patricks Road out to Myra Road can access transport at junction of Myra Road / Strangford Road or Bannaghan Road/Strangford Road junction.
Passengers living up Saul Road and Saul Brae will have to make their own way to the bus station or Down Recorder stop to connect with buses for Ballynahinch, Belfast.
SCHOOL SERVICE - AFTERNOON ONLY
At 16:10 a service will operate for Strangford Road and Strangford children from the Bus Station which will operate along the A25 Strangford Road only.
On Tuesday 22/03/22 ONLY an additional service at 16:10 will be added to transport children to Saul Street, Saul Road, Mearne Road, St Patricks Road to Loughmoney Road at which stage the service will terminate.
Due to staff shortages we cannot provide this service going forward, therefore from Wednesday 23/03/22 to Wednesday 30/03/22 children can only avail of the Strangford Road service where they can disembark at the Myra Road junction or Bannaghan Road Junction.
