In June St. Mary's Highs School and Nendrum College took part in a shared education fundraising sponsored walk. This was a very enjoyable day in our school calendar and will be once again repeated this coming June.
Noreen Kerr, a representative from Action MS, came into school recently to present three students who were our top fundraisers. This was a fantastic achievement for these girls and we are very proud of them. Noreen also acknowledged the effort it takes from everyone involved to make such an event a success. The support of our Principal, Ms Mc Laughlin, and our staff, the help of the parents/guardians and the wider school community and not forgetting the fundraising efforts of all our KS3 students. No matter how small the contribution was, it soon adds up to a lot. Every penny makes a difference in the lives of those who live with MS.
