PSNI E-safety visit

23rd May 2022

The PSNI recently visited our school to speak to our Year 8 and 9 pupils.

They presented information about the current dangers online, crimes that are being committed in the online world and also what to do if students find themselves the victim of such a crime.

At the end of each session the officers kindly answered questions our students had.

We would urge our Parents/Guardians to download the Netaware app. This app contains information regarding current apps used and their potential dangers. Please know what apps your child is using.

Students should know who they can talk to in school if they need too.

Please also be aware that you can use the CEOP website to advise and report esafety issues.

Attached are useful links detailing E-Safety hints and Tips.
