Congratulations to twenty-one of our A2, AS and GCSE Art and Design Students who recently completed the Ulster University Schools Outreach Academy’s Art Unwrapped Course. The pupils successfully participated in the interactive course delivered through a range of guest lectures from Ulster University, School of Art undergraduate students. The course was part of a unique collaboration from Ulster University, Belfast City Council and National Museums Northern Ireland to exhibit iconic work’s from the Ulster Museum’s collection. The pupils studied artist Jan van Bijlert, his work and his techniques, in particular his painting St Matthew and the Angel.
