The Big Breakfast

29th Jan 2020

Recently students whose attendance has been excellent in Term 1, were rewarded with 'The Big Breakfast'.

This is a break of the norm to enjoy a breakfast 'on the house' and cooked by members of staff!

The Education Authority state:

" Good Attendance at school is crucial to the development of children and young people. It helps them to not only attain qualifications but also to form lifelong learning habits, friendships, positive self-esteem and an intereset in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. This in turn encourages them to contribute to society.

Some children and young people will for various reasons have difficulty attending school and the Miss School = Miss Out film highlights some of the reasons why attendance at school can be challenging for some and it also identifies sources of support."
