Update from our Principal

11th Sep 2020

Dear Parent/Guardian

I hope you and your families are all keeping well. The girls are all getting settled back into school life in what we are all getting to know as the ‘new norm’ way of doing things.

Since the figures of Covid-19 cases is rising in Northern Ireland, we feel it is important that we all do our part in preventing the spread of this virus. As a school community we would be very grateful if you could discuss with your daughter why we are being asked to wear face masks to protect others. The advertisement produced by the PHA clearly explains it to everyone. We would ask you to please remind your daughter of the following

  • The need to wear face masks on public transport including the ferry (unless there is a medical reason)
  • The need to wear face masks in the local shops
  • The need to wear face masks on school corridors and other communal areas
  • The need to sanitise hands on arrival in school before going to the designated area for hand washing
  • The need to come to school prepared with everything for the day so that parents do not need to come up to the school
  • The need to make any appointments outside of school hours

We thank you for your ongoing support in this matter, as we know that you will appreciate that no one can afford to become complacent.

Yours faithfully,

Ms McLaughlin

Principal
