Year 11 visit the Giant's Causeway

Year 11 GCSE Geography class have recently enjoyed a trip to the Giants Causeway.  The formation of the Giants causeway is a case study in our GSCE course.  We have enjoyed learning about tectonics in school but it was much more enjoyable to see the action of the earth in real life.  Unfortunately we did not get to see the giant.

It was then on to the rope bridge at Carrick-a-rede.  Most of the girls were brave enough to cross, although it was a little windy and a bit more exciting than we would have hoped for.
