Year 8 Pupils recently visited Carrickfergus Castle to consolidate their knowledge of the Normans in Ireland and Castles from their History lessons. Travelling from room to room within the historic site and trying on traditional dress from the 12th Century was fascinating. Taking on the diffeerent roles from within the Feudal System and handling various artefacts and weaponry was super. Jonh De couracy wouldn't had had a chance against our girls!
