Catholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week 2021 will be celebrated from Sunday 24 January to Sunday 31 January 2021 on the theme ‘Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith and Resilience’.
Christ Has No Body Now But Yours
Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which
he looks compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good. Yours are the hands
through which he blesses all the world. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are
his body. Christ has no body now on earth but yours.
― Teresa of Avila
Unfortunately, because of the current circumstances and restrictions, it is not possible this year to arrange the annual ‘Spirit of Catholic Education Award Ceremony’ during Catholic Schools’ Week. However, to mark Catholic Schools’ Week 2021, Fr Edward McGee has decided to celebrate Mass online within St Mary’s University College on Thursday 28th January at 12 noon with a particular focus on Catholic Schools as Communities of Faith, Learning, Love, Resilience and Hope.
School communities can join in with the online celebration via the St Mary’s University College webcam link at:
