Information for Parents/Guardians of Students using Strangford/Portaferry ferry

Translink have been informed by Strangford Lough Ferry service that they are reverting back to pre-covid sailings for the return of all schools from next Thursday 1^st September 2022.  They will be carrying school children and passengers on all ferries.

The three morning buses Translink operate from Strangford will also revert back to pre-covid times with all buses departing Strangford at 08.30 am after the arrival of the “off schedule” ferry which will now carry students and customers and the 08.15 scheduled ferry from Portaferry.
