Monday 26th September saw us mark the beginning of the school year, as well as the Feast of our Lady of Mercy.
Every year St Mary’s gathers together to remember and gave thanks for its founders the Mercy Order and to honour Catherine McAuley.
The school community prayed for the strength and guidance to continue to live out the values of our Mercy school. To see dignity in everyone, treat all with respect, strive to be the best we can be, by using our talents to the full, put the needs of others first and to seek justice for all.
We were delighted to have members of the Mercy Order and Friends of the Order in attendance. The Mass was live streamed on the Parish Web Cam.
Thank you to Canon Murray, for celebrating our Mass, Head of Religion Mrs Wylie, Head of Music Mr Murphy, the readers, our choir and all our students who took part in the Mass.
