‘Mourne Water gives Life’ project

St Mary’s Art students have been working on the ‘Mourne Water gives Life’ project which celebrates 100 years of the reservoir at Silent Valley. Our pupils are producing ceramic tiles to add to the work of 14 other local schools which will culminate in a large-scale ceramic mural. The mural will be located at Silent Valley and the work will be on permanent display. 

Jane, a representative from NI Water came to collect our ceramics and presented the school with a water butt and pin badges. Well done to all the students who took part.
