On Tuesday 7th November, AS & A2 Level Sociology students, accompanied by Mrs McCann and Mr Kelly, attended the A Level Sociology Conference at Whitla Hall, Queen's University Belfast. Talks by Sociology staff at QUB focused on methodological approaches, practical issues in research design, youth cultures and theoretical approaches to crime and deviance. Students also enjoyed touring the impressive campus and seeing what the university can offer them as prospective students.
